3.11 Power-on and power-off

To power on the device press the ON/OFF key on the side of the display for at least 2 seconds. The logo will
appear and therefore the "Main Menu" screen.
After 5 minutes of no interaction, a screen-saver with the current time will appear on the display.
To power off the device press the ON/OFF key on the side of the display for at least 2 seconds. This
operation is possible at any time: if the device is powered off while a programme is still running, a message
will appear on the display and the programme will be permanently stopped.

3.12 Programme selection

The programme is selected from the "Main Menu" screen by touching the desired icon. A long touch on
each icon will open up an explanatory box for the relative programme (fig.7).
Fig.7 - Example of information screen
Once the programme is running, after 2 minutes of no interaction a screen-saver with the icon of the
current programme will appear on the display.
Simply touch any point on the display to make the screen-saver disappear.

3.12.1 End of programme

At the end of each programme, the device emits an acoustic signal to inform that the food can be removed.
In some programmes the device automatically enters holding mode with a relative message on the display,
during which time the food can remain inside the blast chiller. To interrupt this mode simply press the
"stop" key and at the same time remove the food from the blast chiller.
"Blast Chilling", "Blast Freezing", "Raw Fish" and "0°C Preservation" programmes also include an automatic
defrosting phase which occurs after holding, or when holding is interrupted by the user. Defrosting is
indicated by a dedicated screen and lasts for 15 minutes, after which the display returns to the Main Menu
screen. Automatic defrosting can be interrupted at any time by pressing the "stop" key.
