Display and user interaction

The control panel consists in a 4.3 inch touch display and power-on button located on the side.

1. "Programme" icon: when this icon is touched, the run screen for the relative programme opens.
2. "Settings" icon: by selecting this icon it is possible to adjust the language, time, display brightness
and buzzer volume.
3. Current time: indicates the system clock time.
4. "Back" icon: to return to the previous screen.
5. "Home" icon: to return to the "Main menu" programme selection screen.
6. Scroll icon: indicates the area of the screen that can be "browsed" to view all selection options.

3.10 Meaning of icons

Regardless of the selected programme, there are certain icons that repeatedly appear during the user's
interaction with the display. Their meaning is explained below.
HOME
To return to the Main Menu.
Any inserted data is deleted.
SETTINGS
To enter edit mode to modify the main settings of the device: display brightness, buzzer volume,
language, system time.
BACK
To return to the previous screen.
If the user is in a programme selection screen, the data from the previous screens will be saved.
START
To start the selected programme.
Once this key is pressed, the icon for the running programme will turn light blue (cold cycles) or red (hot
cycles) to indicate the operating status of the device.
STOP
To interrupt the running programme.
Cancellation must be confirmed by pressing "yes" in the next screen.
The programme will be interrupted and the display will return to the Main Menu screen.
LIGHT
To turn internal cell lighting on/off: the light is either on or off depending on whether the bulb is
respectively white or black. After a long period of non-interaction between the user and the device, the
internal light will turn off.
