7 Troubleshooting, Causes and their Repairs
Before any maintenance and cleaning works unplug the connector of the sparking plug!
Problem
The engine does not start.
Insufficient performance of the
engine, not smooth runs of the
engine.
Excessive amount of smoke.
The chain does not oil.
All other problems, which cannot be repaired according to this table, must be repaired by an authorised service only.

Repair
Fill up the petrol.
Follow the start instructions.
Check / replace the sparking plug.
Clean the air filter.
Check / replace the fuel filter.
Shift the Choke lever to the right position.
Clean the air filter.
Check / replace the spark arrester screen.
Check the carburettor's settings
service.
Check / replace the sparking plug.
Empty the fuel tank and replenish the right fuel
mixture.
Check the carburettor's settings
service.
Check the oil tank / replenish oil for saw chains
Clean the hole for oil distribution / drain for oil
supply.
