Joint assembly
Insert the joint (24) paying attention
to position the proper groove on the
fixed cover flange (19).

Steering wheel installation
CAUTION
Install a steering wheel whose dimen-
sions are compatible with the steering
system used (see the steering system
installation manual).
Insert the key (25) into the shaft slot
(26).
Position the steering wheel (27) on
the tilt mechanism shaft (26) so that
the slot on the steering wheel hub is
aligned with the key (25). Insert the
24 mm washer (28) and tighten the
locknut M12 (29) using a 19 mm open
end wrench with a tightening torque
of 30 Nm (22,14 lb∙ft).

Inserimento della guarnizione
Inserire la guarnizione (24) avendo
cura che l'apposita scanalatura si
incastri sulla flangia della copertura
fissa (19).

Installazione del volante
AVVERTENZA
Installare un volante di dimensioni
compatibili con la timoneria utilizzata
(vedere il manuale di installazione
della timoneria).
Inserire la chiavetta (25) nella feritoia
dell'alberino (26). Calzare il volante
(27) sull'alberino (26) del mecca-
nismo tilt in modo che la cava sul
mozzo del volante sia allineata con
la chiavetta (25). Inserire la rondella
diametro 24 mm (28) e con una chia-
ve esagonale da 19 mm serrare il
dado autobloccante M12 (29) con una
coppia di 30 Nm (22,14 lb∙ft).

Montage du joint
Insérer le joint (24) faisant attention
à positionner la fente adéquate sur
la bride de la couverture fixe (19).
Installation du volant
AVERTISSEMENT
Installer un volant dont les dimensions
sont compatibles avec la direction
utilisée (voir le manuel d'installation
de la direction).
Insérer la clé (25) dans la fente de
l'arbre (26). Positionner le volant (27)
sur l'arbre (26) du mécanisme tilt
de sorte que la fente sur le moyeu
du volant soit alignée avec la clé
(25). Insérer la rondelle de 24 mm
de diamètre (28) et serrer l'écrou
autofreiné M12 (29) à l'aide d'une clé
six-pans de 19 mm avec un couple
de 30 Nm (22,14 lb∙ft).
