Position the steering system from
the rear part of the dashboard and fix
it to the bracket (3) using the 3 socket
head screws M8x45 (9) with a tight-
ening torque of 12 Nm (8,85 lb∙ft).
Position the hole cover joint (10) on
the flange (3) so that it covers the
holes not used.

Position the steering system from
the rear part of the dashboard and fix
it to the bracket (3) using the 4 socket
head screws M6x16 (11) with a tight-
ening torque of 10,4 Nm (7.67 lb∙ft).

Tilt connection to the steering
system and fastening to the
bracket

Loosen the socket head screw M4x30
(12) and the socket head screw M6x30
(13) on the tilt cardan joint (14) by
about 1-1,5 turns. Align and insert
the tilt cardan joint into the steering
system shaft (15). Abut the tilt mech-
anism against the aluminium bracket
(3) and tighten the two screws (12)
and (13) with a tightening torque of
2,5 Nm (1,84 lb∙ft) and 7 Nm (5.16 lb∙ft)
respectively. Fix the tilt mechanism to
the bracket using the 4 socket head
screws M6x16 (16) with a tightening
torque of 5 Nm (3.69 lb∙ft).

Posizionare la timoneria dalla parte
posteriore del cruscotto e vincolarla
alla staffa (3) utilizzando le 3 viti M8x45
a testa incassata (9) con coppia di
serraggio di 12 Nm (8,85 lb∙ft).
Posizionare la guarnizione coprifori
(10) sulla flangia (3) in modo che
copra i fori non utilizzati.

Posizionare la timoneria dalla parte
posteriore del cruscotto e vincolarla
alla staffa (3) utilizzando le 4 viti M6x16
a testa incassata (11) con coppia di
serraggio di 10,4 Nm (7.67 lb∙ft).

Collegamento del meccanismo
alla timoneria e fissaggio sulla
staffa

Allentare di circa 1-1,5 giri la vite
M4x30 a testa incassata (12) e la vite
M6x30 a testa incassata (13) sul giunto
cardanico (14) del tilt. Allineare ed
innestare il giunto cardanico del tilt
all'albero della timoneria (15). Manda-
re il meccanismo tilt in battuta con la
staffa di alluminio (3) e serrare le due
viti (12) e (13) rispettivamente alla cop-
pia di serraggio 2,5 Nm (1,84 lb∙ft) e 7
Nm (5.16 lb∙ft). Fissare il meccanismo
tilt alla staffa mediante le 4 viti M6x16
a testa incassata (16) con coppia di
serraggio di 5 Nm (3.69 lb∙ft).

Positionner la direction de la partie
postérieure du tableau de bord et la
fixer à l'étrier (3) à l'aide des 3 vis à six
pans creux M8x45 (9) avec un couple
de serrage de 12 Nm (8,85 lb∙ft).
Positionner le joint couvre trous (10)
sur la bride (3) de sorte qu'il couvre
les trous non utilisés.

Positionner la direction de la partie
postérieure du tableau de bord et la
fixer à l'étrier (3) à l'aide des 4 vis à six
pans creux M6x16 (11) avec un couple
de serrage de 10,4 Nm (7.67 lb∙ft).

Connexion du mécanisme tilt à
la direction et fixation à l'étrier
MOD. X52/X70-SVS
Desserrer la vis à six pans creux
M4x30 (12) et la vis à six pans creux
M6x30 (13) sur le joint de cardan (14)
du mécanisme tilt d'environ 1-1,5
tours. Aligner et insérer le joint de
cardan du tilt sur l'arbre de la direction
(15). Porter le mécanisme tilt en butée
avec l'étrier en aluminium (3) et serrer
les deux vis (12) et (13) avec un couple
de serrage respectivement de 2,5 Nm
(1,84 lb∙ft) et 7 Nm (5.16 lb∙ft). Fixer le
mécanisme tilt à l'étrier à l'aide des 4
vis à six pans creux M6x16 (16) avec un
couple de serrage de 5 Nm (3.69 lb∙ft).
