Choice of the steering
station positioning
Choose a suitable position to install
the steering station. Make sure
there is enough space to move the
steering wheel and for the steering
system and its components behind
the dashboard (see the steering
system installation and maintenance
manual).
CAUTION
For mechanical steering systems: do
not use steering wheels with a diam-
eter higher than 406 mm (16 in.) and
a height higher than 152 mm (6 in.).
For hydraulic steering systems: do
not use steering wheels with a diam-
eter higher than 508 mm (20 in.) and
a height higher than 152 mm (6 in.).
NOTICE
The tilt mechanism overall dimen-
sions are indicated in the pictures
below.
Dashboard drilling
Use the suitable template supplied to
make the 10 mm 3 holes (1) for the
hex head screws M8x45 on the dash-
board and make the 74 mm central
hole (2) using the hole saw.
CAUTION
Before drilling make sure there are
no cables or any other obstructions
behind the dashboard that could be
damaged while drilling.

Scelta posizionamento
stazione di guida
Scegliere una posizione adatta per
l'installazione della stazione di
guida. Accertarsi che lo spazio sia
sufficiente per manovrare il volante
e che vi sia spazio per la timoneria e
per i suoi componenti dietro al cru-
scotto (vedi manuale di installazione
e manutenzione della timoneria).
AVVERTENZA
Per timonerie meccaniche: non uti-
lizzare volanti con diametro superiore
a 406 mm (16 in.) e altezza 152 mm (6
in.). Per timonerie idrauliche: non
utilizzare volanti con diametro supe-
riore a 508 mm (20 in.) e altezza 152
mm (6 in.).
NOTA
Gli ingombri del meccanismo tilt
sono riportati nelle figure sotto.

Foratura del cruscotto
Utilizzando l'apposita dima fornita in
dotazione, eseguire sul cruscotto i 3
fori (1) diametro 10 mm per le viti a
testa esagonale M8x45 ed eseguire
il foro centrale (2) diametro 74 mm
utilizzando la punta a tazza.
AVVERTENZA
Prima di forare accertarsi che non ci
siano cavi o altre ostruzioni dietro al
cruscotto che potrebbero danneggiarsi
durante la foratura.

Choisir une position adéquate pour
l'installation du poste de gouverne-
ment. S'assurer que l'espace pour
déplacer le volant soit suffisant et qu'il
y ait assez d'espace pour la direction
et ses composants derrière le tableau
de bord (voir le manuel d'installation
et d'entretien de la direction).
AVERTISSEMENT
Pour les directions mécaniques: ne pas
utiliser de volants avec un diamètre su-
périeur à 406 mm (16 in.) et une hauteur
supérieure à 152 mm (6 in.). Pour les
directions hydrauliques: ne pas utiliser
de volants avec un diamètre supérieur
à 508 mm (20 in.) et une hauteur supé-
rieure à 152 mm (6 in.).

Les encombrements du mécanisme
tilt sont indiqués dans les figures
ci-dessous.

Perçage du tableau de bord
A l'aide du gabarit approprié fourni,
percer sur le tableau de bord les 3
trous (1) de diamètre 10 mm pour les
vis à six pans creux M8x45 et percer
le trou central (2) de diamètre 74 mm
au moyen de la fraise creuse.
AVERTISSEMENT
Avant de percer s'assurer qu'il n'y ait
pas de câbles ou d'autres obstruc-
tions derrière le tableau de bord qui
pourraient s'endommager pendant
le perçage.
