Insert the tip of a narrow flat-blade screwdriver between

the metal clips at about a 40° angle.
The screwdriver blade must be able to pass between
the metal clips to reach the inner catch.
Push the screwdriver blade inward to disengage the

catch from the slot in the bulb housing. Gently pry the
lens off by moving the screwdriver handle away from
the oven wall.
Support the glass lense cover with both hands to

prevent the cover from falling to the bottom of the oven.
The lens should detach easily. Do not attempt to force
it.
Remove the bulb by grasping and sliding the bulb

straight back until the two prongs have cleared the
ceramic holder.
DO NOT touch the glass of the new replacement bulb

with your fingers. It may cause the bulb to fail when it
first lights. Grasp the replacement bulb with a clean dry
cloth. Locate the two prongs in the ceramic holder,
gently poking until the two prongs locate in the ceramic
socket.
Press down to seat the bulb.

Put the glass lense cover back on by inserting it into the

mounting clip and pressing the end nearest you into the
housing until it locks into place. Insert the screw through
the glass lense cover and tighten.
Reinstall the oven rails.

Turn on the circuit breaker.
