Oil Filter Cover Bolt Torque: 7�3 ft-lb�( 1 0N·m )
13. Clean any debris or contaminants from the magnetic drain bolt
( 3 ) . Replace the washer ( 2 ) with new one if damaged.
14. Install the magnetic drain bolt ( 3 ) and washer ( 2 ) .
Drain Bolt Torque: 18�5 ft-lb� ( 2 5 N·m )
15. Use a dry and clean cloth to wipe the area around magnetic
drain bolt.
16. (Filling option 1) Add the recommended type of oil into oil
dipstick hole using the funnel, funnel extension tube and tube
adapter that are supplied with the vehicle. Keep oil level in the
specified range.
(Filling option 2) Remove rear access cover ( 8 ), screw out
and remove the oil fill cap ( 9 ) from the valve cover. Add
the recommended oil into the fill hole using the funnel, and
extension tube supplied with the vehicle. Keep the oil level in
the specified range.
17. Remove the funnel assy, verify the oil level is between the
upper and lower mark on the dipstick, and adjust the oil level
accordingly. Install the oil cap and tighten sufficiently once
filling is complete.
