Adjust the checker plates accordingly and paint them. Glue the checker plates 8.1 - 8.4 to the deck. UHU plus
endfest 90 min is best suited for this. Apply the adhesive very thinly to the deck with a spatula. Roughen the
glued surfaces.
Do the same with the checker plate surface on the superstructure.
For the steps on the hull and the stairs on the superstructure, carefully fold over the checker plates at the pre-
scored edges after painting and glue them on.
Drill the holes for the railing supports and the extinguishing monitor of the superstructure deck from below.
Do the same with the lid 7.18 of the long box.
For the anchor winch, cut the shaft 8.8 from the 2 mm brass base rod.
Assemble the windlass from parts 8.8 to 8.14. Drill a 1 mm hole in the jaws of the brake 8.12 for the brake
spindle 8.13. Slide the brake over the chain wheel 8.11. Insert the spindle and glue it in place. Glue the
handwheel 8.14 onto the spindle.
For the fenders 8.16, glue the eyes into the plastic tubes. Drill out the central hole accordingly and glue in the
eyes 8.15.
