If the machine has not been used for a certain period of time
(2-3 hours), carry out a few dry runs. Make sure that the ma-
chine is constantly cleaned and periodic maintenance is car-
ried out.

4.6 Dispensing coffee

Do not remove the filter holder from the dispens-
ing unit when coffee is being dispensed.
The dispensing unit and the filter holder reach
high temperatures. Risk of burns. Do not touch it
with your hands or other parts of the body.
In any case, before dispensing, the most suitable filter holder
for the purpose must be filled as described in the next para-
graph.
Using the filter holders
4.6.1
Before filling the filter holder, make sure it is emp-
ty and that the filter has been cleaned of any pre-
vious coffee residue.
• Use the filter suitable for each type of filter holder to dis-
pense the coffee correctly.
• Compress the coffee with the special tamper.
• Clean the rim of the ground coffee filter before attaching
the filter holder to the dispensing unit.
• Hook the filter holder to the unit without closing it too
tightly in order to prevent the gasket from wearing quickly.

4.6.2
The dispensing time depends on the grind fine-
ness, the quantity and the quality of the coffee in
the filter holder.
• Fill the filter with a dose of ground coffee (approx. 6-7 g);
follow the procedures specified by the manufacturer of
the grinder-dispenser.
• Insert the filter holder from the bottom into the dispenser
unit.
• Turn the filter holder counter-clockwise until it locks.

• Place a cup under the filter holder.
• Pull the lever slightly and bring it to the position shown in
the figure. Coffee pre-infusion is activated.
• Wait a short time (3÷5 seconds) and then bring the lever
horizontally as shown in the figure to start dispensing.
• When the desired amount of coffee is reached, return the
lever to the original position.
Once the coffee has been dispensed, remove the filter holder
and clean out the coffee inside it.
