3. INSTALLATION
3.1 Positioning
Before use, the instructions must be followed for a proper in-
stallation.
The machine's support base must be perfectly flat,
not tilt by more than 2° and have no irregularities.
The electrical system must be equipped with a
suitable residual-current device in compliance with
current laws and safety regulations.
• Open the upper part of the packaging and remove all ac-
cessories.
• Place the accessories on a clean surface.
• Unlock the lower part of the cardboard packaging and re-
move the outer cardboard.
• Prepare the support surface before lifting the machine.
• Remove the protective bag.
• Carefully lift the machine and place it on the previously
prepared support surface.
• Install the protection (1) in the upper surface of the ma-
chine.
• Remove the electrical cable to release the seat of the drip
collection tray.
• Install the drip collection tray at the front of the machine.

3.2 First start

After having correctly placed the machine, proceed with the
first start.
• With the machine turned off and disconnected from the
mains, remove the lid of the water tank (1).
• Remove the water tank (2) from inside the machine with
2 hands.

The first few times the removal of the water tank
may be more difficult because the gaskets are new.
• Fill the water tank up to MAX level.

Never exceed the MAX level indicated in the water
tank to avoid unwanted water spills.
In the tank, always use only fresh, non-carbonated
drinking water. Hot water as well as other liquids
can damage the tank and the machine.
• Reposition the tank by pushing it all the way to make sure
it is well inserted.
