How to connect a microphone

Operation (when dubbing using a microphone)

Insert a tape on which you want to audio dub.

Search for the point to start audio dubbing and set it
p STOP
to playback pause.
P PAUSE

Press AUDIO DUB.

To start audio dubbing, press P PAUSE on the VCR.
Audio dubbing starts.

To adjust the microphone volume
Turn the MIC LEVEL control.
To stop audio dubbing
Press p STOP.
Listening to both the hi-fi and normal audio
Set the AUDIO MIX switch inside the drop-down panel to ON. You can
listen to dubbed audio over the original hi-fi audio. When the AUDIO
MIX switch is set to ON, AUDIO MONITOR on the remote commander
does not function. Remember to reset AUDIO MIX to OFF after playing
the tape.
