9 Troubleshooting

9.1 Troubleshooting Table

SYMPTOMS
Ceiling hoist does not respond to the
hand control's buttons and up/down
buttons on the ceiling hoist are not
responding.
Ceiling hoist does not respond to the hand
control's buttons, but up/down buttons
on the ceiling hoist are responding.
Lifting straps will only move down and
not up.
Lifting straps will only move up and not
down.
Ceiling hoist speed is the same with and
without load.
Lifting straps are twisted and do not
straighten out.
Ceiling hoist does not traverse the rails.
Ceiling hoist emits excessive noise when
activated.
Ceiling hoist will not charge
No indicator light on hoist
The emergency strap does not turn
ceiling hoist off
The emergency strap does not lower the
ceiling hoist.

Check that the emergency stop is not
