Next, prepare the shroud turnbuckle part 147.
Adapt the turnbuckles so that on one side
there is an eyebolt with a borehole and on the
other side an eyebolt with a slot.
Then screw the turnbuckle onto the chain
plates. Use screw and nut 216.

Now mount the first pair of shrouds (upper
shroud) from the top of the mast over the
spreader on the middle turnbuckle. Slide one
ferrule part 176 over the cut-to-length end of
the steel rope, slide a loop through the ferrule
and back through the ferrule.
Then pull on the ends so that the loop disap-
pears in the ferrule.
Now press the ferrule together with flat nose
pliers and pinch off the end.
The other shrouds (lower shrouds) start above
the spreader.
