Then stick on the guide block with waterproof
wood glue and affix the pipes with Acrylit.
Now you have finished the deck enough to
stain the margin planks and the fish.
Here we can make use of a negative property
of the laser. The laser burns the wood where it
is used. To glue it, we therefore have to sand
the burned edges clean so that the glue will
hold. The same applies for paint. The paint
does not take well on lasered areas. However,
the laser-engraved planks should not be
sanded, but rather should remain visible. Now,
if you carefully stain along the line of the
planks, we have a good line to separate the
areas that should be a different colour. We can
also perform another step here, and prime with
pore filler to everything that is to stay light, for
example. Stain the margin planks and the fish
(king plank = plank in the middle of the boat)
with a colour tone, e.g. mahogany Krick
349111. Apply the stain with a suitably soft
brush.

Before sticking on the deck, treat the underside
such that the wood is waterproofed. For best
results, apply several primer coats of pore filler
to the deck and then paint.
Before sticking on the deck, stick on the eye-
bolts for the bobstay. It is very hard to glue on
this area from the inside after this point.
Now you can stick the deck onto the hull. For
best results, use the Krick epoxy resin item
Aeropoxy laminating resin No. 44010 and mi-
cro balloons 44020, which has a processing
time of 1 hour. The easiest way to apply the
glue is using a piping bag (e.g. one used by a
confectioner). Alternatively, the Aero Tech
Poxy 44022 with dispensing gun 44023 can
also be used.
After applying the bead of adhesive to the deck
support bars in the hull, the deck can then be
placed on the top and fixed in place accord-
ingly with adhesive tape. The deck should
cover the edge of the hull.
After the glue has dried, you can sand the
edge.
Now attach the skirting board part 218. First,
you have to make 2 skirting boards from the
three 1 m bars. First, divide one bar in the
middle. Taper one end of a 1 m bar and one
end of a 0.5 m bar to 20 mm.
