6.2.4. Control of oil level and refreshing reduction gearbox oil

Check for each use of the machine, the oil with the oil level glass.
Oil must stand right with the sign of the oil level glass, if not the case, refill the oil up to the mark sign.
If oil looks milky, consult directly the DiBO technicians. To refresh oil, work as follows:
- Unbolt the drain plug below the reduction gearbox.
- Catch all oil in a barge and drain the dirty oil in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Tighten the drain plug (with new seal ring) and top up the oil to the upper part till the mark line.
- Recommended oil: 1.836.015 (0.35 Ltr).
6.2.5. Cleaning of the water filters
Clean the filter cartridge (60 μ) of the water filter and strainer (3/4") regularly, remove possible dirt.
Before dismantling the bowl (cartridge filter) you should first release the pressure, next clean the filter.
Replace the filter cartridge filter and every damaged parts (O-ring, ...) if necessary to ensure good perfor-
mance under pressure and water- tightness of the whole filter. Loosen the filter at the bottom of the trailer (at
the height of the position light) simply and clean it. If necessary, you can replace the sieve.

6.2.7. Maintenance engine general

For maintenance activities to the engine we advise to consult also the supplied instructions for engine use.
Recommended oil: 1.836.005 (200/18: 2.5Ltr - 200/30 & 350/18: 3.8Ltr - 500/15: 5.2Ltr).
The engine has a drain tap at the bottom to drain the used fuel.

6.2.8. Oil drain engine

Remove the black drain plug of the engine block (engine will leak no oil by the drain spring in the nipple).
Couple the drain hose to the engine block nipple (see picture), the drain spring will now be pushed and the
oil flows through the flexible hose. Remove the plastic cap at the end of the hose and drain all used oil in a
drip pan. Replace the oil filter if necessary (see manual Lombardini).
Push the drain plug again in the engine block (at the end of oil maintenance).
Pay attention: remove the dirty oil from the drip pan on environmentally friendly method.
6.2.9. Oil filling engine
Remove the fill cap on top of the engine. Fill the engine crankcase with oil ( type oil see technical data ).
Check the oil-level by means of the mark lines on the oil-level dipstick. Place back the fill cap.
