3.3. Component review

1. Fuel motor
The type of fuel motor depends on the type of cleaner (see technical data).
2. Pressure indication
On the display, one can read the pressure.
3. Burner
The type of burner depends on the type of cleaner. The 'green burner' is a burner that makes a higher efficiency.
The burner provides hot water. The temperature of the water is adjustable. The burner is double- walled.
The outside wall is air cooled by the ventilator lateral on the burner chamber. On top of the burner one can find
the burner mouth. The water supply and outlet are both situated at the bottom of the burner.
Lime scale deposits while working at higher temperatures
The hardness of the water is possible expressed in French degrees (°F) or German degrees (°D).
The difference is noticeable in the following equation: 1 ° F = 0.56 ° D.
For example, water having a hardness of 40 ° F has a German hardness of 40 x 0.56 = 22.4 ° D.
See the in your area prescribed hardness of drinking water. Hard water can cause problems by means of lime
scale from 30°F or 17°D. When hardened water is now warmed / heated / or being pumped (or when hard water
comes in contact with air), this can cause calcification. Hard water is caused mainly by the presence of two com-
ponents: calcium and magnesium. So the harder the water, the more chances on lime scale! When cleaning with
high temperatures (or at using heated water) , you obtain thus faster calcification in case of a low hardness!
This can therefore result in loss of energy efficiency, higher energy consumption and reduced capacity of water
supply (including calcium deposits on the burner coil and other water connection parts).
We, DIBO NV, therefore recommend to decalcify the machines with a burner preventive additionally and after use
of hot water rinse adequate with cold water (if possible) to ensure optimum performance of the machine!
4. High pressure pump
The type of high pressure pump depends on the type of cleaner (see technical data).
5. Trailer (not with a built- in/SKID version)
The machine is built on a trailer. Place the trailer horizontally on a stable surface during spraying activities, this to
avoid for a possible failure from draining of the water tank.
6. Water tank
The water tank is an reservoir that is assembled between the water system (tap) and the high pressure pump.
The water tank prevents that there may appear pressure impulses in the water system.
Pressure impulses appears by switching on and off the spray jet.
The water tank prevents under all circumstances that there penetrates chemicals in the water system.
The tank has also an overflow for draining the excess of water and a drain tap at the front of the trailer.
Transport the trailer only with empty water tank!
Note: the cap on the water tank should NOT be used to fill the tank. Filling through the cap may in no case be
done, the supplied water will not pass through the water filter (water supply is not filtered).
DiBO is not responsible for possible damage caused by improper use of the cap.
The cap should ONLY be used to add any antifreeze in the water tank and to check the water level of the water
tank through the float system or any maintenance on the float system/tank.
Please also add no other products (such as chemical products, ...) in the water tank!
7. Water filter
The water supply is purged with the water filter.
8. Burner motor
The burner motor drives both, the fuel pump and the ventilator.
The burner motor switches on as soon as the burner switch is switched on.
9. Fuel pump
The fuel pump is driven by the burner motor. On the fuel pump is an magnetic valve assembled which makes that
the fuel either gets to the burner or gets back to the fuel tank.
