In thanking you for the acquisition of this transpallet, we want to call to your attention some aspects of this manual:
-this booklet supplies useful instructions for the correct operation and maintenance of the transpallet to which it refers; it is therefore necessary to pay the utmost attention to all of the paragraphs which illustrate
the most simple and secure way to operate the fork truck ;
-this booklet must be considered an integral part of the machine and must be included with the deed of sale;
-neither this publication, nor part of it, can be reproduced without written authorization on the part of the Manufacturing Firm;

The person responsible for the use of the fork truck must make sure that all of the safety rules in force in the country of its use should be applied, to guarantee that the equipment is used in conformity with the
use for which it is destined and to avoid any dangerous situation for the utilizer.
In case the truck is delivered with the tiller disassembled, due to transport necessity, it must be attached and the command lever adjusted according to the following instructions before using the truck.
Tiller installation (fig. C):
• Install the tiller (1) to the hydraulic unit (5) using the provided screws (2) and washers (3). Verify that, during the positioning of the tiller on the pump, the chain (4) goes through the hole on the tiller foot (5)
and tiller pin (6).
• Rotate the lowering lever (7) and insert the pin at the end of the chain (4) in the seat (7). Verify that the tip of the pin properly enters in the seat, as shown in fig.3.
Adjustment of the command lever (fig. C):
• Put the command lever in position 2 – Lifting – and bring the forks to the maximum height using the tiller, as illustrated in paragraph CONTROLS
• Put the command lever in position 1 – Transport
• Verify that the tiller (1) is in vertical position
• Untighten the locknut (8) and slowly turn the adjustment screw clockwise (9) until the forks begin to descend
• As the forks start to descend, turn the screw (9) anti-clockwise for one and a half turn; eventually, tighten the locknut (8)
• Verify that with the command lever in position 1 – Transport – neither movement, lifting nor lowering, of the forks occurs at any position of the tiller
• Verify that with the command lever in position 3 – Lowering – the lowering of the forks occurs at any position of the tiller
WARNING: do not use the truck before all the operations and verifications described above are accomplished.
Before every use of the truck, verify that it is in a safe condition for starting the operations, in particular:
• Check whether there is any deformation, visible damage or wear on the frame
• Check the tightening of all the screws
• Check for leakages of the hydraulic pump
• Verify that the command lever and the hydraulic unit operate correctly in all the three functions of transport, lifting and lowering (see paragraph OPERATING THE TRUCK)
• Check the rollers and castors wear
• Check the presence of the name and safety plate and their legibility. Missing, damaged or unreadable plates must be replaced before the use
• Report the presence of damages, failures or problems to the proprietor
WARNING: Do not use the truck before all the operations and verifications described above are accomplished and if damages, failures or problems are found

Rating plate "X" (fig.B) can be thus summarized:
Model = MODEL
Code = CODE
Serial# = SERIES NUMBER
Year = YEAR OF MANUFACTURE
RATED LOAD CAPACITY = MAXIMUM CAPACITY
Plate "X" (fig.B) reports the unloaded weight of the fork truck
The Manufacturing Firm does not assume any obligations and/or responsibility relative to breakdowns or accidents due to negligence, non-original spare parts and improper use of the fork truck.
On the drawbar of the fork truck you will find a throttle lever which can be regulated in 3 positions as indicated on the "Y" rating plate (fig.B)
