Service and maintenance

· If necessary, clean the exterior of the DGEA with a soft cloth.
The following cleaning agents are permitted:
soap suds or water (max. 60 °C)
all non−abrasive cleaning agents
· Make sure that the lubrication intervals are observed.
If the device is not operated frequently, lubrication should take place at the
latest after 3 years.

· Note that lubrication must be undertaken more often in the case of:
dusty and contaminated environment
working strokes < 50 mm
speeds > 2 m/s
· Grease the bearings at the lubrication
points with permissible lubricants.
DGEA−25/40: 1, 2, 3 and 4.
DGEA−18: 1 and 2 or 3 and 4.
Depending on the design, each of the
lubrication points can be greased via two
alternative lubrication nipples. In this
case, you can use the lubrication nipple
that is more accessible.
