Disassembly
Warning
A mass which falls down unexpectedly can cause injuries.
· Observe the disassembly sequence:
1. Place the cantilever arm in a stable position before disassembly of the DGEA.
This requires applying power to the brake.
Vertical mounting position:
Horizontal mounting position: stable position = mid−position
2. Remove these attachments:
loads and adapter elements on the cantilever arm
extensions to the second drive shaft
3. Loosen the coupling (or the locking ring for the DGEA with right−angle gear
unit). If the clamping screw is not accessible through the housing hole,
energise the brake and change the position of the axis until the clamping screw
is accessible.
4. Interrupt the supply of current.
5. Remove the motor.
6. Secure the axis against falling down.
7. Unscrew the fastening screws on the drive head.
