To view AMIQ module information:
1. Press
Ctrl+Ctrl
2. Click the Admin tab. The Device Admin screen displays.
3. Select the AMIQ module for which you wish to view version, configuration and
connection information.
4. Click the Edit device button. The Edit Device screen displays.
5. Click the Info button. The Information screen displays.

6. Click Close to return to the Device Admin screen.

Console Maintenance

The Console tab Configure screen displays the AMX switch default settings for the keyboard, OSD
and command line hotkey sequences and the quick switch hotkey. These settings ensure that all
keys pressed on the attached keyboard display the correct character in the OSD. The AMX switch
can support keyboard layouts from multiple countries and regions. In most cases, these will not
need to be changed.
In addition to the standard and Sun keyboards, the AMX switch supports the Pinnacle FAK, a
keyboard type used primarily in the Broadcast industry. From the Console tab you can configure
the AMX user station to enable the Pinnacle FAK keyboard. See Table 4.2 for a listing of the
available keyboard layouts on the AMX user station.
The AMX switch also provides a lockdown feature that prevents users from modifying user station
data in the Console tab Configure screen. Only the Admin user can access the lockdown feature
from the Console tab. The lockdown feature must be set for each AMX user station.You can also
set inactivity, screensaver and logout time from the Inactivity screen.
To configure the console:
