9. Radio

 If necessary, press the MODE button to switch to radio mode. FM will appear in
the display.

9.1. Aerial reception

You will find a wire aerial on the rear of the device. Adjust the wire aerial for optimal
reception.

9.2. Tuning the stations

 Press the  or  buttons on the device or on the remote control to set a par-
ticular frequency.
 Press the SCAN button on the device or the SCAN/ button on the remote
control to automatically search for the next station, or press and hold the button
until the station search begins to search backwards for the previous station.

9.3. Stereo/mono reception

The stereo reception of a station in FM (UKW range) is indicated on the display by
the ST symbol.
If the stereo reception is weak (there is noise interference), the reception signal can
sometimes be improved by switching to mono reception.
 Press the MONO/ST. button to switch between stereo and mono reception.

9.4. Storing and selecting stations

You can store up to 30 stations.
9.4.1. Storing a station manually
 Tune in a station that you would like to store.
 Press the MEMORY button on the remote control. The programme position
will flash on the display.
 While the display is flashing, use the PRESET/FOLDER  or  buttons on the
remote control to select the desired programme position for this station.
 Press the MEMORY button again to store the station. The selected position
(e.g. P01) will remain on the display.
9.4.2. Selecting stations
 Press the PRESET/FOLDER  or  buttons on the remote control to call up
the stored radio stations again.
