Be extremely careful when doing this operation to make sure that impurities or
dirty get into the hydraulic circuit since this would damage the transmission
irreparably.
Keep your hands and all parts of the body away from any leaks or
holes in the hydraulic circuit. The hydraulic fluid is under
pressure and is sufficient to cause serious lesions. If lesions are caused,
call a physician immediately because hydraulic fluid is poisonous!
Before any maintenance, service or repair work on the hydraulic circuit,
allow the hydraulic fluid to cool and then depressurise the circuit by
switching off the engine.
Any maintenance work on the hydraulic circuit is best assigned to an
authorised Goldoni Technical Assistance Centre to guarantee that the
work will be done with all due care and to prevent damage to the
transmission.
6.4 RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION HEAT EXCHANGER
See n.1 fig.14
Daily (or more frequently if the tractor has to work in particularly dusty
conditions) check the grille in front of the radiator. If necessary, take the grille out
and clean it appropriately.
Keep the engine radiator core and hydrostatic transmission foil heat exchanger
clean.
Blow air through the radiator in the opposite direction from the flow created by
the fan: from the inside towards the outside.
If dirt has infiltrated between the engine radiator and heat exchanger, before
using the air jet, remove the heat exchanger by removing the top fixing section
and move it out of the way to the right.
Every 8-10 hours check the level of the cooling liquid in the expansion tank n.5
fig.14. It should be at the level indicated when the engine is cold.
It is advisable to use FIAT PARAFLU 11.
Change the cooling liquid every 2 years. The amount needed is 6-7 litres
depending on the model.
Drain liquid: plug on the bottom right of the radiator.
To fill: add the liquid to the reservoir n.5 fig. 14.
Do not open the expansion reservoir when the engine is hot as
the cooling liquid is under pressure and at high temperature.
Danger of severe burns.
