near sources of heat (direct sunlight, heating appliances, incandescent lights, etc.);
near air currents (near doors, windows, air-conditioning systems, etc.) that should not exceed the
speed of 0.2 m/s.
- Remove the wooden supports on the base (used for transportation) and mount the adjustable feet
(Rif. 2) regulating them so as to position the cabinet is horizontally; use a level (Rif. 1) to make sure
of its positioning.
- After moving the cabinet, check levelling.
- Before connecting the cabinet to the electric supply, make sure that all the data on the nameplate
corresponds to the characteristics of the electrical system to which it will be connected.
- In order for the cabinet to operate correctly, the temperature and the environmental relative humidity
must respect the parameters indicated in norm EN-ISO 23953-1/2 that provides a Climatic Class 3
(+25°C; R.H. 60%).
Warning! Install a maximum of 3 cabinets in line on the same power and refrigeration channel
(1 Master + 2 Slaves).
Note: All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

9. Joining cabinets (Fig. 10)

The cabinets can be joined (Rif. 14) and the end walls (Rif. 16) can be mounted/dismantled by means
of the same hooks (Rif. 15), following the instructions below:
- Dismantle the end walls by working on the hooks (Rif. 15);
- Raise the end walls so as to slip out the two supports A and B;
- Position the cabinets side by side;
- Block the hooks as in (Rif. 15).

10. Electric connections (Fig. 11 - Fig. 12 - Fig. 13)

- The cabinet is fitted for electric connection with a plug (NOT SUPPLIED). Fit a plug with a suitable
power capacity for the electrical connection on the supply cable, following the respective safety
regulations: yellow-green = earth light blue = neutral brown = phase
- Do not connect any other appliances to the same electrical outlet (do not use adapter plugs).
- Make sure that the electric cable is laid in such a way that it does not get damaged and that it does
not constitute a risk of accidents to people.
- The cabinet must be protected upstream by means of a thermomagnetic omnipolar automatic
switch, of suitable characteristics, which also works as main knife switch in the line.
- The operator must know the switch position in order for it to be readily accessible in case of EMER-
GENCY.
- The electric system must be grounded.
- First of all, make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the nameplate
230V / 50Hz (Rif. 3).
- In order to guarantee regular operation, the maximum voltage variation must fall between +/-6% of
the nominal value.
- Make sure the supply line is wired with cables of adequate cross-section, and is protected against
current overload and grounded in conformity with the laws in effect.
- For power supply lines that are longer than 4 - 5 m, increase the cable section accordingly.
- In the event of a power failure, make sure that all the electric appliances in the shop can be re-star-
ted without activating the over-current protections; if not, modify the system so as to differentiate
start-up of the various devices.
- The installer should provide the anchorage for all the cables entering and leaving the cabinet.
The automatic magnetothermal switch must not open the circuit on neutral without also open-
ing it on the phases at the same time and, in any case, the opening distance of the contacts
must be at least 3 mm. The network electric system may be modified exclusively by skilled
personnel.

11. Startup, control and regulation of temperature (Fig. 5)

Before inserting or removing the plug, switch off the power at the socket.
- Insert the plug and supply power to the socket.
- Turn on the main switch on the electric panel Rif. 7 (1).
