Funktionsprinzip des EM I - Gerätes
Das TIP TOP Thermopress EM I - Gerät besteht aus
einem fahrbaren Unterteil, auf dem allseitig schwenk-
und verstellbar ein dreiteiliger Geräterahmen montiert
ist. Durch eine hydraulische Hebe-/ Senkeinrichtung
läßt sich der Geräterahmen auf die jeweilig erforderliche
Reparaturposition am Reifen einstellen. Die beiden an
die verschiedenen Reifenkonturen anpassbaren Heiz-
platten erzeugen in Verbindung mit der pneumatischen
Spanneinheit die nötigen Vulkanisationsparameter
Druck und Temperatur.
Vor Erstinbetriebnahme unbedingt zu beachten!
Anschlußwerte prüfen
Bei Einsatz des Gerätes an 110 V Stromnetzen auf
exakte Phasen-Verdrahtung achten.
Achtung!
Bei einer Eingangsspannung unter 95 V bzw. 210 V
ist die Funktion der Regeleinheit nicht gewährleis-
tet. Anschluss von einem Elektrofachmann durch-
führen lassen!
Entlüftungsschraube der Hebe-/ Senkeinrichtung an-
stelle der Transportverschraubung einsetzen.
Vor der ersten Reparaturstellen-Vulkanisation unbe-
dingt zu beachten!
Gerät gemäß Aufbauplan komplett aufbauen.
Gerät an Druckluft- und Stromnetz anschließen, alle
Sicherungsbolzen auf exakten Sitz überprüfen und
Druckregelventil auf ca. 8 bar einstellen.
Druckeinheit durch Betätigen des Handhebelventiles
schließen und Betriebsdruck durch Drehen des Druck-
regelventiles langsam auf 10 bis 11 bar erhöhen.
Hierbei muss das Überdruckventil bei max. 11 bar
(150 psi) gelöst werden! Anschließend Betriebs-
druck auf 4 bis 8 bar einstellen. Falls das Über-
druckventil bei max. 11 bar (150 psi) Betriebsdruck
(Eingangsdruck nochmals prüfen) nicht anspricht,
Gerät vom Druckluftnetz trennen und Überdruk-
kventil auf mögliche Einstellungsveränderungen/
Transportschäden etc. überprüfen! Falls keine
Mängel erkennbar sind, Gerät vom Stromnetz und
Druckluftnetz trennen und durch einen TIP TOP
Techniker überprüfen lassen.
Gerät einschalten und 30 Minuten unter Kontrolle erst-
mals auf Betriebstemperatur aufheizen. Hierbei auf ein-
wandfreie Reglerfunktion (erkennbar an den Kontrol-
lampen sowie der Temperaturanzeige) achten. Falls
hierbei Funktionsstörungen auftreten, Gerät vom
Stromnetz
trennen,
sichern, (Hinweis: Selbsthilfe bei Störungen) oder durch
einen TIP TOP Techniker überprüfen lassen!

Wiederinbetriebnahme
Functioning of the EM I machine
The TIP TOP Thermopress EM I consists of an adjusta-
ble, 3 axis main frame on a mobile undercarriage. The
frame can be adjusted, by means of a hydraulic height
adjusting device. In conjunction with the pneumatic
pressure unit, the two heating plates, which can be
adapted to the different tyre contours, generate the
temperature and pressure required for the vulcaniza-
tion.
Please note the following before putting the machine
into operation for the first time:
Check the power/compressed air supply data.
If the machine has to be connected to a 110 V mains
supply, ensure that the phases are correctly connected.
Caution!
If the input voltage is below 95 V or 210 V respec-
tively, the correct functioning of the control unit is
not guaranteed. Have the machine connected by
a qualified electrician!
Replace the transport screw link by the filler/vent screw
of the height adjusting jacking device.
Please note the following before curing an injury for the
first time:
Mount the machine completely according to the moun-
ting instructions.
Connect the machine to the air and electrical power
supply. Make sure that all the locking pins are seated
precisely and set the air pressure adjusting valve to
approx. 8 bar.
Close the pressure unit by means of the hand lever
valve, and slowly increase the operating pressure up to
10 - 11 bar by turning the air pressure adjusting valve.
During this operation, the safety valve has to be trig-
gered off at a maximum pressure of 11 bar (150 psi).
Then set the operating pressure to 4 - 8 bar. If the
safety valve is not triggered off at an operating pres-
sure of 11 bar (150 psi) (Check the supply pressure
again.), disconnect the machine from the air supply
and check whether the pre-set pressure on the safe-
ty valve has changed or whether the safety valve has
been damaged in transit. If no defects are found, dis-
connect the machine from the air and electrical power
supply; then have the machine checked by your
TIP TOP technician.
Switch the machine on; then heat it up to the operating
temperature for 30 minutes while keeping it under con-
trol, checking whether the temperature controller works
correctly; you can see this from the indicator lamps and
the temperature display. If the machine does not work
correctly in this phase, disconnect it from the mains;
make sure that it cannot be put back into operation;
then have the machine checked by your TIP TOP tech-
nician or refer to the "trouble shooting" chapter of this
manual.
