ABS DEACTIVATION BUTTON (where
provided)
To deactivate the system, use the follow-
ing instructions:
•
Turn the ignition switch to the
"ON" position.
•
Push in and hold down the but-
ton.
After about three seconds the

ABS light on the instrument pan-
el will begin to flash.
•
Immediately release the button.
•
At this point the ABS light on the
panel will continue to flash slow-
ly; the ABS system is completely
deactivated.
To reactivate the ABS system:
•
Stop the vehicle and turn off the
engine, turning the ignition
switch to "OFF."
•
Turn the ignition switch back to
"ON" and start the engine.
•
Once the vehicle begins to
move the ABS system will reac-

Pour désactiver le système, opérer com-
me suit :
•
Porter le commutateur d'alluma-
ge sur « ON ».
•
Appuyer sur le bouton et le tenir
tel quel.
Après environ 3 secondes, le
voyant du cadre (ABS) com-
mence à clignoter.
•
Relâcher immédiatement le
bouton.
•
À ce point, le voyant ABS sur le
tableau de bord continue à cli-
gnoter lentement. Le système
ABS est alors complètement
désactivé.
Pour réactiver le système ABS :
•
Arrêter le véhicule et le moteur
en mettant le commutateur d'al-
lumage sur « OFF ».
