► Thread the strap (1) through the loop (2) and back through
the belt (3) from below.
► Close the hook and loop fastener (1).
► Insert the battery (4) into belt bag as far as stop.
There is a short beep.
► Secure the battery (4) in position with the hook and loop
fastener (5).

Adjusting the Connecting Cable
The connecting cable can be fitted and adjusted to suit the
user's size and the application.

The length of the connecting cable can be adjusted by
making a loop (1) and securing it to the belt bag (3) with the
fastener (2).
► Arrange the connecting cable so that it is as short as
possible without hindering your work.

Fitting and Adjusting the Shoulder Strap

► Switch off the trimmer and pull the connecting cable plug
out of the socket.

► Put on the shoulder strap (1).
► Adjust the shoulder strap (1) so that the carabiner (2) is
about a hand's width below your right hip.
► Hook the carrying strip (3) onto the carabiner (2).
