4.10 Storing
WARNING
■ Children are not aware of and cannot assess the dangers
of a trimmer. and can be seriously injured.
► Push the retaining latch into position
► Pull the connecting cable plug out of the
socket.
► If a metal cutting attachment is mounted: Fit the
transport guard.
► Store the trimmer out of the reach of children.
■ The electrical contacts on the trimmer can corrode if they
are damp. This can damage the trimmer.

► Store the trimmer in a clean and dry condition.

4.11 Cleaning, Maintenance and Repairs

■ The trimmer may start unintentionally if the connecting
cable plug remains inserted during cleaning, maintenance
or repair operations. This can result in serious injuries and
damage to property.
