OBSERVED PROBLEM:
A. No Transmission:
(motor does not turn)
WARNING:
Do not create an electrical short between the
batteries/battery box and metal parts of the
appliance. It will damage the remote
(see figure 2).
B. No Ignition:
WARNING:
Do not create an electrical short between the
batteries/battery box and metal parts of the
appliance. It will damage the remote
(see figure 2).

C. No Tone:
D. One 5 second continuous tone
(7 short beeps might be heard prior to the
5 second tone):
E. No Pilot Flame:

F.Valve Does Not Work Manually:
(pilot flame goes out when stem is released
after 60 seconds [see figure 5]):
G. Electronics continue to spark after
positive pilot flame:
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
1. Receiver must learn new code.
2. Dead batteries.
3. Receiver damaged.
4.Transmitter damaged.
5. Motor cable at valve broken.
6. Bent pins on 8 wire connector.
7. If the receiver is surrounded by metal,
it can reduce the transmission range.
1. ON/OFF switch in OFF position. Manual
override knob in MAN position.
WARNING:
Make sure that the antenna is not too close to
the ignition cable and ignition coil (beneath the
cover). It will damage the receiver (see figure 3).

REMEDY:
1. Press and hold the receiver's reset button
until you hear 2 acoustic signals.After the
second longer acoustic signal release the
reset button and within the subsequent 20
seconds, press the
until you hear an additional long acoustic sig-
nal confirming the new code is set
(see figure 1).
2. Replace the batteries.
3. Replace receiver and reprogram code
(remedy 1).
4. Replace the transmitter and reprogram the
code (remedy 1).
5. Replace motor cable at valve.
6. Straighten pins on 8 wire connector.
7. Change the position of the antenna.

1.Turn ON/OFF switch to ON position and
the knob for the manual override to the
ON position (see figure 4).

1. Purge the line or start ignition several times.
2. Check the polarity of the thermocouple
wires.
3.Try manual operation of the valve:Turn the
valve knob to the manual position and hold
the safety magnet open with a pen for
approximately 60 seconds (see figure 5).
1. Replace thermocouple.
2. Confirm regulator pressure, and sizing.
Replace if necessary.
3. Replace the valve. Over tightening the ther-
mocouple interrupter will damage the safe-
ty magnet unit.
1. Replace receiver and reprogram code
(remedy 1).
