6.3.2 Electrical heating (versions with Display)
• Press the 's main switch (16);

the boiler;
• Wait for a further few seconds for the auto-test to
be run;

6.3.3 Gas heating
(where the gas system is fitted)
• Rotate selector (A) to position 1;
• open the gas valve (B) on the mains;
• hold down the push button (C) and, at the same time,
press the on button (D). Once the flame ignites, hold
down knob (C) for a few seconds, to allow proper
activation of the thermocouple;
• then check through the window (E) that the flame
has ignited;
• wait for the operating pressure indicated on the
gauge to reach the working value of 0,1-0,12 MPa
(1-1,2 bar);

6.3.4 Electrical heating + gas
(where the gas system is fitted)
• Proceed as indicated in the next paragraph;
• after having checked that the flame is ignited, rotate
selector (A) to position 2. In this way the boiler heat-
ing element is powered and operating pressure will
be reached more quickly;
• wait for the operating pressure indicated on the pres-
sure gauge to reach the working value of 0,1-0,12
MPa (1-1,2 bar);
During the machine heating stage (approx. 20 minutes), the vacuum
regulator valve will release steam for several seconds until the valve
itself shuts off.
Never start up the gas system with an empty boiler.

6.3.5 Switching the machine off

Switch the machine off through the switch or the
main selector.
