Cutting narrow workpieces

(Width less than 120 mm)
Use as circular table saw:
Push the workpiece forward with both hands, in the area
of the saw blade, use the push stick (25).
When working on very flat and narrow workpieces (Width
30 mm and less) use the lower guide area of the fence (3).

Cutting wide workpieces

Use as circular table saw:
Adjust the guide ruler (3) (rear end beyond the blade guard).
Pull the stop back if the workpiece could get jammed be-
tween saw blade, blade guard and stop.
Rule of the thumb: The rear end of the stop touches a
thought line that begins approx. in the centre of the saw
blade and runs to the rear at an angle of 45°.

Cross cuts / mitre cuts

Use as pull saw
Install the universal guide to the front section
Adjust the guide ruler (3) to your desired angle and make
sure that it is close to the cut plane.
Shift the guide carrier (6) to make sure that the workpiece
can be safely lean on the guide.
Firmly hold the workpiece and pull the saw unit forward.

Maintenance and cleaning

Before each maintenance and cleaning work
− switch off device
− Wait until the saw comes to a stop.
− Pull out power plug
Maintenance and repair work other than those described in this
chapter is only allowed to be carried out by service staff.
For maintaining and cleaning, removed security devices must
unconditionally be mounted properly and proved again.
Use only original parts. Other parts can result in unexpected
damages and injuries.
Cleaning
Observe the following to maintain the operability of the
machine:
Do not wash down device with water.
Remove shavings and dust only with a brush or vacuum
cleaner.
Clean and oil all moving parts regularly.
Never use any grease!
Use for instance sewing machine oil, liquid hydraulic
fluid or environmentally acceptable spray oil.
Take care that the saw blade remain free of rust and resin.
Remove all resin residues from the saw bench top
Resin residues can be removed with a commercial
maintenance and care spray.
The saw blade is a wearing part and will become dull after
prolonged or frequent use.
renew the saw blade or have it sharpened.
Maintenance
Changing the saw blade
Before replacing the saw blade:
− switch off device
− Wait until the saw comes to a stop.
− Pull out power plug
Do not use any saw blades made of HSS steel.
