DISPOSAL AND DISMANTLING

When dismantling the product, the technician must proceed with the relative phases in strict compliance with the local rules governing such
activity and with all the instructions in this manual.

The general conditions of sale governing all products manufactured by CAPRARI S.p.A. also apply for the product in question.

In particular, remember that one of the essential conditions for recognition of the warranty is compliance with all the individual instructions given
in the enclosed documentation and the best hydraulic and electrotechnical practices, fundamental condition to ensure regular operation of the
product.
Malfunction caused by wear and/or corrosion is not covered by the warranty.
To prevent the warranty from becoming void, the product must first be examined by our technicians or by technicians from our authorized after-
sales service centers.
Failure to comply with the instructions in the documentation supplied with the product shall void all form of guarantee and shall relieve the
manufacturer from all responsibility in merit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Faults
1.
The unit fails to start.

The fuses burn on start-

Probable causes
1.1. The motor or engine is not being powered.
1.2. The selector switch is in the OFF position.
1.3. The automatic monitoring devices for motor
failure will not allow the unit to start.
2.1. Fuses of an inadequate size.
2.2. Insufficient electrical insulation.
2.3. Broken power cable.
2.4. The powering voltage rating fails to correspond
to that of the motor.
3.1. Full voltage is not reaching all motor phases.
3.2. The power draw is unbalanced on the phases.
3.3. Abnormal power draw.
3.4. Wrong relay setting.
3.5. The rotor of the unit has locked.
3.6. The power rating fails to correspond to that of
the motor.
4.1. Wrong relay setting.
4.2. Mains voltage too low.
4.3. Unbalanced power draw on the phases.
4.4. Abnormal power draw.
4.5. Electric panel temperature high.
4.6. Motor turns in the wrong direction.
Remedies
1.1. Make sure that there is fuel.
Make sure that the electrical equipment is in
a good condition.
Make sure that the unit is being powered by
the electricity main.
1.2. Select the ON position.
1.3. Wait until conditions have returned to normal
or make sure that the automatic devices have
reset.
2.1. Replace with fuses suited to the power draw
of the motor.
2.2. Check the insulation resistance with an
ohmmeter.
Overhaul of replace the electric motor if
necessary.
2.3. Repair or replace the cable if necessary.
2.4. Replace the motor or check the power
supply.
3.1. Make sure that the electrical equipment is in
a good condition.
Make sure that the terminals are correctly
tightened.
Check the power rating.
3.2. Check the phases for unbalance as described
in paragraph 5.5 "Electrical connections and
information".
Overhaul or replace the electric motor if
necessary.
3.3. Make sure that the star or delta connection is
correct.
Check the operating flow rate. If excessive,
reduce it by means of the sluice valve on the
delivery duct.
3.4. Make sure that the amperage is correct.
3.5. Disconnect the power source and attempt to
release the rotor by hand.
Send the unit to an authorized after-sales
service center if necessary.
3.6. Replace the electric motor or check the
power rating.
4.1. See 3.4.
4.2. Check for losses from the power main.
Contact the Electricity Board if necessary.
4.3. See 3.2.
4.4. See 3.3.
4.5. Make sure that the relay is at compensated
ambient temperature.
Protect the electric control panel from the sun
and heat.
4.6. Invert two of the three phases.
