2. General product description, area of application
Orthocryl / Orthocryl EQ are cold-curing resins based on PMMA,

used for the fabrication of fixed and removable dental appliances,
occlusal splints, anti-snoring devices etc.
All Orthocryl powders (polymers), fluids (monomers) and color

concentrates are approved as medical products Classs IIa for
application for fixed orthodontic appliances.
Accessories such as Orthocryl Disco glitter and decals are intended

to be used for removable orthodontic appliances only.
Orthocryl
attains optimal stability when used with the salt-and-
®
pepper technique. It is also suitable for the doughing technique.
When used with the doughing technique, Orthocryl EQ attains
®
optimal flowability. It is also suitable for the salt-and-pepper technique.
