Clean the front and back of the glass with a damp cloth or
sponge, use of a pH-neutral detergent is possible. Wipe dry
with a dry cloth/ kitchen paper.
Press the
button after all parts are reinstalled.
Make sure that the suction opening is clear
when replacing the top glass.
Never use objects that could damage the glass
such as an abrasive sponge, abrasive cleaning
liquid or aggressive cleaning agents.

8.2.2 Cleaning the grease filters

When the grease filters must be cleaned, this is indicated by the
grease filter cleaning indication (see 4.5.1)
- Follow the steps described in 8.2.1.
- Take the grease filters out of the extraction tower (keep the
position of the grease filter in mind; there is a left and a right
grease filter)
Clean in dishwasher or immerse in hot water containing
degreasing detergent.
WARNING: If the instructions described above are
not followed, residue in the fi lter may cause a fi re.
The uppermost extraction tower glass must NOT
be placed in the dishwasher. This may cause
scratches in the glass; it may also damage the
coating on the base.
After cleaning:
– Return the filters and the glass into the extraction tower.
– Press the
button after all parts are reinstalled.
– Press the
control key for 3 seconds when the extraction
tower is completly downwards.

8.2.3 Cleaning in the event of spillage into the device

- Follow the steps described in 8.2.1 and 8.2.2.
- Remove the upper collection containers from the tower and
clean if necessary.

- In the case of spillage of large quantities of fluid, slide the
lower collection containers from the underside of the extraction
hood and clean if necessary.
Follow the steps in the reverse order to make the device ready
for cooking again.
