Cleaning and Maintenance

E N 8.1

Cleaning

The milling machine must be cleaned after each
working day.
In order to clean the milling chamber and the spin-
dle:
▷ Open the milling machine door.
▷ Push operation button [A] on the milling
machine.
The extraction system is activated and the oper-
ation button lights up.
▷ Push service button [B] on the milling machine.
The sealing air at the spindle is activated and
the service button lights up.
▷ Remove the dust tray and dispose of accumu-
lated milling dust/shavings away from the
machine.
In this manner, the filter bag in the extraction
system will not fill up as quickly and can be used
longer.
▷ Remove the extraction hose at the rear side of
the machine and vacuum clean the milling
chamber.

Weekly Maintenance

NOTE:
Danger of damaging the machine!
▷ Do not use compressed air, ultrasonic or a
steam jet for the cleaning!
Spindle
The provided Jäger spindle service set and a mill-
ing tool of your choice are required for mainte-
nance of the spindle.
