109. Secure the batteries in the fuselage using the hook and loop
straps. We recommend applying hook and loop tape to the
forward tray and batteries to keep the batteries from sliding
when installed in the fuselage.
 Do not cover safety warnings on the
battery with hook and loop tape.
 Apply a small amount of 5-minute epoxy to the straps to
secure them to the battery tray. This will prevent them from
falling through the holes when the battery is removed.

GAS ENGINE INSTALLATION

 The Tiger 30cc has been designed to use a variety
of power systems. Please make sure to check the
power system selected has mounting holes that
align with holes in the drawing. Different holes may
be required depending on the motor selection.
 Use of the DLE-35RA Rear Exhaust engine may
require up to 12 ounces (340g) of additional
nose weight to properly balance this model.
 Hardware has been provided to allow the
installation of different engine selections.
110. Attach the carburetor arm using the hardware included with
the engine.
111. Attach the muffl er to the engine using the hardware included
with the engine.

112. Check the fi t of the engine spacer to the standoffs on the
engine. Note the locations of the screws.
113. Use a drill and 13/63-inch (5mm) drill bit to drill the
appropriate holes for the engine mounting screws.
114. Insert the remaining screws through the back of the fi rewall
and through the spacer.
115. Use the screws to attach the engine to the spacer and
fi rewall.
