9. Sound

9.1. Volume/mute

 To adjust the volume, use the  and + buttons on the remote control or the
controller on the device.
 Press
to mute the sound.
X
to cancel the mute setting.

9.2. Equalizer

Press one of the equaliser buttons POP, ROCK, JAZZ, CLASSIC, FLAT to select one
of the various sound presets. The selected setting is then shown on the display.
If FLAT is selected, the equaliser is switched off and the sound is played back un-
changed.

9.3. Bass

 Press the BASS button to switch on the bass amplification.

10. Clock and timer

10.3.1. Displaying the time

The time can be displayed both when the device is switched on and when it is in
standby mode.
 When the device is switched on, press the SET CLOCK button. The time is dis-
played for several seconds.

10.3.2. Setting the time

The time is set automatically using the radio reception signal. You can also set it
manually:
 Switch the device to standby mode, and hold down the SET CLOCK button.
 The hour display flashes. Press  or  to set the hours.
 Press the SET CLOCK button to confirm.
 The minute display flashes. Press the  or  buttons to set the minutes.
 Press the CLOCK/SET button to confirm the setting.
The time is now set.
