12 Decommissioning and disposal

When decommissioning and/or disposing of the FCU, all local guidelines and conditions
concerning safety at work and the protection of the environment must be taken into
consideration. This applies in particular to the oil contained in the unit, to components
coated in oil and to electronic components.

13 Storage

The FCU should be completely drained prior to long-term storage (if necessary, flush with
n-heptane, benzene or another suitable fluid) to prevent gumming.
The cleaning agents and flushing oils must be handled and disposed of correctly.
