Resetting the digital security code

You normally do not need to set the digital security code. It is assigned to your base
unit and handset automatically when you charge the battery pack for the first time
(see page 9).
However, in the very unlikely event that you suspect another cordless telephone
using the same security code, you can change the code manually.
Note
When the battery pack in the handset is completely discharged, or is removed from the handset,
the digital security code will be erased.
In this case, charge the battery pack. A new digital security code will be assigned automatically.
Tips
• This procedure changes the secutity code in both the base unit and the handset.
• You can change the security code as often as desired.
