6.2 Replacing the air filter

Check the level of dirt on the air filter
when the filter replacement display
lights up. Only use original spare
filters  Chapter 8, Accessories.
1. Before cleaning or maintenance work,
switch off the ventilation unit with the main
switch [6].
2. Release the 2 quick-release clips and
remove the front cover.
Filter replacement prompt is
displayed on the room air control
every 3 months. We recommend
replacing the filter every 6 months
at the latest. Filter replacement is
simple and requires no tools.
3. Pull the push-in frames of the G4 air filter
out of the ventilation unit.

4. Remove the filter inserts from the push-in
frames. Dispose of these according to
local regulations.
5. Clean the push-in frames with a damp
cloth and leave them to dry.
6. Insert new filter inserts into the push-in
frames so that the air filters lie flat right
into the corners, without any folds.
7. Pull the F7 pollen filter out of the ventila-
tion unit.
8. Dispose of the pollen filter according to
local regulations.
The pollen filter will be
NOTICE
damaged if pressed in
at the centre.
Only use the reinforced corners
to slide the pollen filter into the
ventilation unit with the dust air
side on top (see label printed on
the filter).
9.
Slide the two push-in frames and the new
pollen filter into the ventilation unit.
10. Attach the front cover and lock it in place
with the two quick-release clips.
11. Switch the ventilation unit off with the
main switch [6].
12. Reset the timer on the room air control
for the filter replacement interval to zero
(RESET)  Chapter 4.2.4, Chapter 4.3.2
or separate assembly and operating
instructions RLS D1 WR.
