Switching the EW-S controller off
 Press .
The EW-S controller switches off. Outside air
is now fed directly to the ventilation system
without any temperature change.

6. Cleaning, maintenance

6.1 Safety instructions

● Switch-off the EW-system at the EW-S
controller before starting any cleaning and
maintenance work.
● Switch the room air system off.

6.2 Changing the air filter

Change the air filter regularly, at least

every 6 months. Only use original
EW-F replacement filters.
( Chapter 1).
 Switch the EW-system off at the EW-S
controller.
 Switch the room air system off.
 Switch the mains fuse off.
 Depending on the installation position of
the EW-K 225, remove the 2 screws from
the right or left housing cover.
 Remove the housing cover.
 Pull the metal frame with the air filter out of
the housing.
 Remove the filter insert from the metal
frame. Dispose of these according to local
regulations.
