How to solve possible problems

PROBLEM
It is not possible to record/listen to recorded
messages and display information
The Unit does not make the telephone call
Loss of installer code
Loss of user code
The Control unit makes the telephone call
but does not send a vocal message

SOLUTION
Remove the unit from the base (par. 3.4);
Set the Unit to maintenance mode
(OFF switch);
press the reset push-button located at the back
of the unit.
The reset will cancel the date and hour
Make sure that the telephone line IN is
connected to the terminals
the telephone line OUT is connected to the
terminals on the back of the Unit.
Check the stored telephone numbers and, in
the Telephone functions menu, that Call has
not been set on OFF
Make sure the system is off.
Remove the Unit from base. This operation will
produce an alarm.
Switch the slide switch ON the back of the Unit
in OFF position.
Press the reset pushbutton, the Unit is switched
to "Maintenance" mode.
It is now possible to read the password by
accessing the submenu "Maintenance Code".
Reprogram the Control unit with SecurityConfig
Make sure that the setting in:
"Communicator/Tel. functions/ Protocol" is OFF
and that
