8.5 - Sending telephone commands

The programmed commands in section 7.6 can be sent to the Unit through any fixed
telephone.
Procedure:
with telephone answering *
After listening to the answering
machine, press
you to type in the user code
* Operation is guaranteed only
with local answering machines
installed after the Unit
Wrong code
The Unit notifies the error with
a vocal message; it is possible to
type the code again.
After three unsuccessful tries, the
Unit stops the communication

(Pick up the phone or press
a key if you are using a cordless
phone or mobile phone).
Dial the telephone number
connected to the unit
without telephone answering
After the number of ringing signal on
answering, the Unit will ask you to
type in the user code
Type in the USER CODE (e.g. 00000
set at factory)
If you type in the wrong code, it
is possible to cancel the digits by
pressing or
typing in the code
Correct code
The Unit transmits a presentation
message and communicates the
system status
Type in the Open Web Net Code
(e.g. *1*1*3##)
or a simplified Code
(e.g. 9912) (see next page)
