15. Troubleshooting

With this LED spot, you have purchased a product that is built using the latest technology and that is safe
to operate. However, problems and malfunctions may still occur. For this reason, the following section
provides an explanation on how to rectify possible malfunctions.
The device does not work after being connected to the power supply:
• The mains plug is not plugged into the mains socket properly.
• The mains cable is not properly inserted into the mains connection on the device.
• The mains socket is not supplied with electricity.
There is no response to DMX commands:
• The blackout mode is enabled on the DMX controller.
• The DMX address is not set correctly.
• The connection between the DMX controller and the LED spot has been interrupted.
• The DMX cable is too long or is damaged. Use a special DMX high frequency cable. Try to lay the DMX
cable away from sources of interference.
• The polarity of the DMX connections on the DMX controller and the LED spot is different.
• If possible, try using another DMX controller.
The music control does not work:
• Music control is not enabled.
• The music playback is too quiet. Try using a higher playback volume.
• Test the integrated microphone by tapping your finger on the casing. The sound-to-light control should
respond to these impulses.
