• To power the device using the mains voltage, move the LOAD switch to the ON position and the BATTERY
switch to the OFF position. To program the device, it is sufficient just to move the LOAD switch to the ON
position.
• The LED spot turns on. The LED display (5) turns on.
a) Connecting a single device to the mains supply
The mains socket to which the LED spot is connected must be close to the device and easily
accessible so that the device can be quickly and easily removed from the mains supply in the
event of a fault.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltages can cause fatal
electric shocks.
Do not leave cables lying around freely; get an electrician to lay them properly in order to
prevent the risk of an accident.
Before connecting the device to the mains, ensure that the rated voltage on the LED spot matches
the mains voltage. If it does not match with your mains voltage, do not connect the device to the
mains. Connecting the device to a mains supply with an incorrect voltage can cause irreparable
damage to the device and may endanger the user.
• Insert the power adapter plug on the mains cable into the POWER IN socket (8) on the device.
• Insert the mains plug into a grounded outlet.
• To power the device using mains voltage, move the LOAD switch (2) to the ON position and the BATTERY
switch (3) to the OFF position.
b) Connecting multiple LED spots in a circuit
You can connect multiple units (up to 7) to one power supply. This connection setup is not
possible when using the rechargeable battery.
• To use this setup, connect the POWER IN socket (8) on the first LED spot to the mains using the mains
cable. Additional power adapter plugs are required (not included with the product).
• Connect the POWER OUT port (4) on the LED spot to the mains connection on the subsequent LED spot.
• Repeat this step until you have connected the maximum number of LED spots in a circuit. The eighth LED
spot must be connected to the mains again to connect additional devices as described above.
• To power the units in the circuit using the mains voltage, move the LOAD switch (2) to the ON position and
the BATTERY switch (3) to the OFF position.
Connect up to 7 LED spots in a circuit powered by one mains socket. Only use LED spots of the
same type in one circuit.
c) Rechargeable battery - checking the battery level
• Move the LOAD switch (2) to the OFF position and the BATTERY switch (3) to the ON position.
• Do NOT connect the device to the mains using the mains cable.
