Step 5: If needed, the set point for the stroke setting can be
changed by making adjustments to the magnet
mounting block. If set point is low, the sensor's
magnet on the plunger assembly must be raised.
CAUTION: Removable Loctite was applied to set screws at the
factory. Appropriate torque must be applied to loosen the screws.
CAUTION: Do not raise the magnet block too high because the fluid
level sensor will not work correctly. Make sure the magnet is properly
aligned with the sensor. Looking from the left side, only the aluminum
body of the magnet block is shown. Make sure to re-tighten the set
screws upon completion.

a.
Before making adjustments, it's recommended to
mark the factory set position of the magnet
mounting block. This will make it easy to go back
to the original stroke position if needed.
b. Use a 2 mm Allen wrench to loosen the two set
screws that mount the magnet block to the guide
rod. It is recommend to turn the two set screws
counterclockwise about ¼ to ½ turn.
c.
Move the magnet block downward to the desired
position. This new position will be the new limit
for the upper stroke
d. Re-tighten the set screws upon completion.
