APPENDIX: Fluid Level Sensor Adjustment (Stroke
Adjustment) for TS6500 Conversion Kits
PURPOSE
Although all Conversion Kits for TS6500 Techkit Mixer were tested
and calibrated at the factory, if the fluid level sensor needs to be
adjusted to optimize the mixing result please follow procedures
described below. This procedure also applies for re-adjustment of
currently installed kits.
EQUIPMENT
•
Empty Techkit cartridge with dasher, mix rod, and piston installed.
•
2 mm hex wrench.
CAUTION
Adjustment screws were assembled with removable Loctite 222,
appropriate torque must be applied to untighten them.
PROCEDURE
Step1:
Attach the machine to appropriate air and power
source then turn-on machine. (Follow Section 8)
Step 2: Remove existing the cartridge holder bracket and
plunger assembly from the machine and install new
parts from the conversion kit. (Follow Section 13)
Step 3: Install an empty Techkit cartridge.
