Service the product carefully. Check
 
for misalignment or binding of
moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other damage that may impair
the product's operation. If damaged,
have the power tool repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained tools.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
 
Properly maintained cutting tools
with sharp cutting edges are less
likely to bind and are easier to
control.
Have the product maintained by
 
uali ed specialists.
Use only the replacement parts
 
recommended by the manufacturer.

perfectly horizontal.

B. The hinge C guides the tree to
the ground – like a door hinge – and
prevents premature falling.

Do not saw the hinge C at the

unexpected direction!
Be prepared that the tree can ‚slip'

out of control onto the cut during

To prevent the product from getting
 
caught in the felling cut B, push
aluminium or plastic wedges into the
cut B. Do not use iron wedges.

swing through at the end of the
cut due to its own weight. If it is no
longer supported in the cut, hold
something appropriate against it.
