7. Slide the roof sheet (4) over the pipe and tighten it
with screws.
8. Finish the seam between the pipe and the cone of
the roof sheet or lead slab watertight with silicon
sealant and if necessary a storm collar (5).
9. Install the roof sleeve (6) and secure it with the
clamping strap included in the delivery.
10. Make sure the roof sheet is covered watertight.
Use lead, tar and/or silicon sealant for this,
depending on the existing roofing.
Roof sleeve through a pitched roof
of flammable material
Read the "Installation Conditions" chapter care-
fully and follow the installation instructions
below.
1. Start at the stove and add the concentric pipes
one at a time, including the changes in direction
you want, along the route you decided on in
advance, up to just under the roof.
2. Decide on the location for the roof sleeve.
3. Make an elliptical hole so that a fire separation of
at least 50 mm remains round the pipe.
4. Extend the concentric pipe (1) until it extends at
least 250 mm above the roof surface (more is per-
mitted up to a maximum of 1000 mm stand-alone);
see next figure.
5. Center the pipe using the centering plates (2) and
attach it with the installation bracket (3).

6. Slide a roofing sheet for pitched roof (tar roof) or a
lead slab (4) (tile roof) over the pipe and seal or
cover it watertight.
7. Finish the seam between the pipe and the cone of
the roof sheet or lead slab watertight with silicon
sealant and if necessary a storm collar (5).
8. Install the roof sleeve (6) and secure it with the
clamping strap included in the delivery.

Establishing a gas connection

The connection to the gas pipe is on the back of the
gas regulator block, which is at the bottom right of the
stove.
The connection must meet the following conditions :
A coloured gas valve must be inserted in the gas
supply pipe, as close to the stove as possible and
always accessible.
The connection must be voltage-free.
Have a certified installer make the connection.
Follow the instructions below:
1. Check whether the type of gas and gas pressure
on site correspond with those marked on the type
plate.
The type plate is attached behind the door in
the stove.
2. Assemble the gas supply pipe. 3/8" G pipe or cop-
per pipe with diameter 10/12 mm suffices for pipes
up to +/- 10 m. 1/2" G pipe or copper pipe with dia-
meter 13/15 mm is used for lengths exceeding 10
m.
3. Install the gas valve.
4. Connect the stove to the gas supply pipe. The gas
connection can be established via the opening on
the back of the base. Use a square 3/8" coupling
and a flexible 3/8" stainless steel connection hose
with a minimum length of 300 mm for this.
5. Check if the supply pipe is gastight (using soapy
water, for example).
