Shortening the air intake sleeve (0,5 mm thickness) can be done easily with
metal shears.
Shortening the flue gas pipe (0,6 mm thickness) can be done easily with a
hacksaw.
Cutting with a disc is not recommended due to burning of the stainless steel.
Remove burrs and sawdust.
3. Insert the terminal from the outside through the wall, with "TOP" up and secure
outside to the house wall using plugs and screws (paying attention to the slope
to the outside of the air intake sleeve).
4. If desired the hole on the inside of the wall can be finished with a wall plate, type
USMP 10.
5. Connect the stove to the terminal and secure with a locking band type USKB 10
or stainless steel screws.

In all cases the vent sleeve must maintain a clearance of at least 50 mm from
combustible material all the way around
Practically, this
accomplished by making a
pipe housing, min 250 mm
diameter (1), or a casing,
min 250 mm square (2), of
non-c ombustible
keeping the terminal sleeve
perfectly centred within this
passage (see picture).
For centring and finishing,
the use of centring plates,
USCP 10 (3) can be helpful.

Gas Connection

Connection to the gas line is made on the right-hand side of the gas regulator
housing underneath the unit.
Check that the type of gas and the gas pressure correspond with the specifications
on the specification plate.
An approved gas cock must be installed in the gas line as close as possible to the
unit in a place that is always accessible.
No strain must be remaining when the connection is made.
Check that there are no gas leaks in the line (using e.g. a soap and water solution).
For lines up to +/- 10 m, 3/8" G pipe or copper pipe of 10/12 diameter is sufficient.
For more than 10 m, use ½" or copper pipe of 13/15 diameter.
